Horn Works app for iPhone and iPad

Horn Works is an application created as a partial fulfillment of a Masters Degree in Music Education for the American Band College of Central Washington University.



The application features three main modes: Note Mode, Fingering Mode, and Pitch Mode. In each mode, you can explore a different area of horn playing to help you progress from a young to intermediate player!



In note mode, you play through a twenty question quiz of strictly note identification aimed at strengthening your treble clef reading skills.



In fingering mode, you can select which horn it is that you own (F horn, Bb horn, or Double horn) and play through the twenty question quiz again. Only, this time, you input the fingering associated with the treble clef note.



In pitch mode, the twenty question quiz helps you develop your understand of the pitch tendency of the horn you own based on valve combinations.
